First Playing Impressions of GT4

Played the game now for nearly 5 hours with my son. We're 2% done.
We are veterans of GT3 so it was nice that GT4 lets you import 100K of your past money
you are allowed to import your licenses from GT3 as well. A very fair policy in our book.

We purchased a new 16mb memory to handle all the data that's planned to be generated.

Scenary is excellent, better than is was and then it was excellent.
Lot's to see and play with; some old tracks are held over like Train Mountain and some new are added
to start you off. The strategy guide is not available until 03/01/05. We reserved one.

My only gripe so far is that the AC Cobra hot rod is always shown as a convertible but races
as a convertible with it's roof up. I'd rather see a driver doing some steering.

I'm curious what's up with GT4 online play ? I don't see it, there's LAN and Network but not Internet.

While I'll be at work my son will play more and invite a friend to continue to conquer this beauty.

So far worth the money after day 1.

Jon & I have decided to pickup the GT4 guide when we take delivery later today.
Hopefully it'll show the 500+ cars and 100+ track information.

Promoting GT4 with Donald Trump's Show Apprentice

This I must see....only to see if these goof balls really "get it" with GT4 or do they lay another egg as usual.
GT4 comes out 02/22/05 and the show is on 02/24/05 ....... it should be great ! (GT4 I mean.)
